WEDDING TIPS

We would like to thank you for your interest in our company for some of the most important purchases of your life. Below is some information that you may find helpful while you are planning your wedding.

CHOOSING A WEDDING VEIL LENGTH

Shoulder length wedding veil: Varies in length from 18" to 27", which reaches or just passes the shoulders. Simple style gowns look wonderful with this length of veil.

Elbow length wedding veil: Is slightly longer than the shoulder length veil. It can measure anywhere from 28" to 36" in length and ends at or near the elbows.

Fingertip length wedding veil: This veil is meant to extend to your outstretched fingertips. It is usually 48 inches in length and can be single layer or doubled with a blusher front.

Chapel length bridal veil: A chapel length veil is almost to the floor.

Cathedral length wedding veil: Cathedral veils are intended for very formal weddings. they are very dramatic they can actually take away from the dress. some brides use this veils to embellish a floor length dress instead of a long train. a cathedral veil can extend for more than 5 yards but it is more common to have the veil extend at least a foot beyond your gown's train.

CHOOSING A BRIDAL HEADPIECE

An important thing to remember is that your bridal headpiece is an accessory to your bridal gown and should accentuate it and not overpower it. If you have accents like pearls, sequins or rhinestones on your dress, try to select a bridal headpiece with the same accents. If your bridal gown is a simple style, select a simple headpiece. Likewise, if you have an elaborate bridal gown then you can wear a more elaborate bridal headpiece.

Bridal comb: These can be made of rhinestones, pearls, sequins, fabric flowers or a combination of these things. They can be worn with or without a veil. They are simple, understated and look great with short or long straight hair as well as an updo. If you wear a bridal comb with an updo, be sure you place it back against your updo. Think large barrette bridal headpiece.

Bun Wrap: The bun wrap is circular and fits around the updo. It is usually made of fabric flowers, rhinestones, pearls or a combination. This style looks great with a curly updo and can be worn alone or with a veil attached at the back.

Bridal Tiara: The most elaborate of bridal headpieces is the bridal crown or tiara. These are constructed of metal, are circular but do not usually go completely around like the bun wrap. The band of the tiara can be concealed by your hairstyle or veil so that only the crown is seen. The tiara can be either gold or silver in color and should be the same color as the jewelry you wear. Tiaras are usually studded with rhinestones or pearls or a combination of both. They can be simple or ornate. A tiara looks especially nice with an updo.
